How does it work? Cuddy™ works by separating your 1’s and 2’s with its intuitive ‘bowl’ design. Cuddy™ then traps and breaks down solid waste through a biological decomposition process, reducing your waste’s volume and eliminating odour. This composting waste is stored in a removeable container and sealed underneath the bowl. All liquid waste is then stored in a separate, removeable, smell-proof container too.
What are the power requirements for Cuddy™?
Cuddy™ takes 12v, and we ship with the parts to be hard-wired via a 5.5 x 2.1mm plug, or you can plug it into the mains with an adapter.
If you want to move Cuddy™ around that's easy too. You can get a cig plug, or merit plug adaptor or even a USB to 12V cable with a 5.5 x 2.1mm plug. Cuddy™ will go anywhere. Cuddy™ is very efficient - draws about 0.3 amps.
It is ok if Cuddy is not connected to power all the time.
If you store Cuddy in one place while travelling it could go without power and use it where there is power, or vice versa.
For the "pee full" indicator Cuddy uses a 9v battery, you will need to supply that.

I have used a Cuddy for over a year with no problems. It is compact and confortable. It only weigh about 20lbs. I will fit under a bed or counter and is easy to move if necessary. We use sawdust as our compost medium because it is free. There is no smells, at all. REALLY! We only have to empty the solids bin about every 2 weeks right into the garbage. The liquid container more often and it goes into a remote weedy area or into a regular toliet. The toilet paper goes into a container that goes into the trash. We use a spray daily to wipe down the surfaces, and hose the entire unit down about once a month. We had questions in the beginning that their customer service quickly helped with. So much better than chemicals, cassettes; and I refuse to use a diverter with a bucket. It's worth every penny.
