Are you looking for a way to maximize the space in your van conversion without sacrificing a complete kitchen space? Our Passenger Side Van Kitchen for the Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, or Ram Promaster van provides you with all that you need and more for living life on the road in comfort and style.

Our passenger-side van kitchen is preassembled and ready for installation. It is designed for the DIYer and professional builder to speed up the time of your van conversion and get you on the road, not in the garage or shop working on your Sprinter Van.

This passenger-side van kitchen is crafted in the USA with top-quality materials, creating an unparalleled on-the-go cooking experience.

The Van Kitchen sits on the passenger side of your van, protruding into the slider door access area. This van kitchen was designed specifically for the passenger side to allow access to the refrigerator from the inside and outside of your camper van. The passenger-side van kitchen boasts not only a drop-in sink but a full pull-out drawer with dovetail construction to keep your kitchen items neatly stored and secure while traveling. Below the sink, you're provided a large door that offers easy access to your sink plumbing and a large storage area for whatever you need on your travels. Most commonly, the space beneath the sink in your van kitchen stores additional water.

This unit is designed for the ISOTHERM DR65 or ISOTHERM DR85. Make your van conversion simple by choosing the preinstalled option, or send us a message about a refrigerator you may already have, and we will do our best to accommodate.

All our Products, including the Passenger-Side Kitchen, are handmade right here in the USA using only high-quality materials for a professional finish.

If you need more space from your slider door area for your van conversion, we suggest checking out our universal kitchen galley as well as our refrigerator cabinet!

FAQs

  • How do I install the galley?

Mounting to the wall: Our galleys are designed to mount to the vehicle's wall. You can measure and mark a section of solid wall truss/beam behind the cabinet to approximate before shooting a screw or rivet nut into the wall. We recommend a minimum of three rivet nuts or five self-tapping screws to hold the galley in place.

Mounting the sink: Make sure to properly install the sink using the hardware provided with the sink. It is never wise to drop in a sink with no mounting brackets or silicone seal around the edges of the sink.

Installing a refrigerator: It is required to cut inlet and outlet ventilation holes for the unit; this allows the unit to cool down without posing a fire risk. Refer to your refrigerator unit manual for airflow direction and ventilation requirements.

  •  How do I know if the Passenger Van Kitchen will fit my vehicle?

This kitchen is designed to stick out partially into your entry way. While we recommend a walk-through space of 30"+, this actual space will depend on your build layout. Please note: Transits and Promasters may require notching in the cabinet backing to clear the protruding metal entry way beam.

  • How do I apply, paint, stain, or sealer?

Painting

  • Lightly scuff the entire cabinet surface that you plan on coating with 120-180 grit sandpaper.
  • Apply 2-3 coats of primer before applying your main coat.
  • Always apply a finish when you're happy with the paint for a long-lasting appearance.

    Staining

    • Sand the surface on all faces with sandpaper traveling with the grain of the wood.
    • Apply stain cautiously to a section of the cabinet that will not be visible to gauge the volume and pressure you need to achieve the look you want.
    • Apply the stain evenly with a rag, sponge, or spray gun until all surfaces are coated.
    • Please note that overlapping surfaces may make the stain darker on the overlapped areas.
    • Always apply a finish when you're happy with the stain for a long-lasting appearance.

    • What power intake does the refrigerator take?

The ISOTHERM line of refrigerators we use accepts 100-240V AC and 12V/24V DC
